fullsizeoutput_112It is not a sin to spend time in pubs. The name, short for “Public House” was historically a local meeting site for everyone. Sunday roast was had by the whole family, the town’s news was shared, and stories were told. Stories of travels and travails, money lost and found, romances unrequited and otherwise. Before jukeboxes and the internet, information and entertainment were left to the raconteurs among us.
